This is a sample project created to demonstrate the portfolio structure.
The problem
Personal publishing tools can demand more attention than the writing itself. Notlar explores a reading and publishing experience that stays out of the way.
My contribution
Content structure, typography, page development, and the static publishing workflow.
How I built it
Interface
Comfortable line lengths, a proper heading hierarchy, and clear keyboard focus for long-form reading.
API and server
Content processed at build time, without requiring another API request to read an article.
Data layer
Versioned text files and stable URLs, keeping a small publication free of unnecessary database infrastructure.
Outcome and takeaways
This sample explores building a better reading experience with less interface. Performance and accessibility shaped the design from the start.
